Shiaic3D's Game Box Storage Terrain concept takes the idea of quality, 3D printed table-top battlefield gaming terrain and seeks to make it useful off the tabletop as a means of storing and transporting your precious game miniatures. Shiaic3D's unique design of Game Box Storage Terrain 3D models creates a range of detailed urban buildings compatible with any futuristic settings in a world of 6mm scale SciFi warfare. And the best part is, it all stores away compactly within your existing game box.

These Game Box Storage Terrain building models are carefully designed in dimensions relative to each other and the game box itself so that they fit snugly within the game box that you already own. This enables you to transform these beautiful boxes into a complete storage and transport system - one that also contains the very terrain needed to play the game!

Of course, even if you choose not to use the building models to store and transport your valuable miniatures, they work fantastically as highly-detailed urban terrain pieces on their own!

This bundle collection of Game Box Storage Terrain includes an expansion set of 3D building models from the successfully-funded Kickstarter campaign.

Stackables! This pack includes everything you need to expand the range and type of models to add variety to your existing collection of unique, dual-use miniatures storage and tabletop wargaming terrain pieces. This expansion set contains a number of the different building types (designated by letters, and distinguished by size) and introduces new stackable variants, adding new multi-level combinations and options to the standard collection of models contained in the Game Box Storage Terrain core sets.

New Designs. This expansion features new designs, unique to this collection – Building B4 and Building D4.

HexSlide – A Unique Storage System

The Game Box Storage Terrain features a unique HexSlide recess storage system to hold and secure your hex-based miniatures. Combined with the corresponding HexLock, the Game Box Storage Terrain can securely hold and transport your miniatures safely to prevent them from jostling or rubbing against each other. This helps prevent the wearing or chipping of your painstaking paintwork.

The HexSlide System allows for two alternative methods of sliding and fastening your hex-based miniatures in the Game Box Storage Terrain buildings – (a) up-facing, or (b) side-facing. This allows for maximum flexibility in choosing the orientation of how to store your minis. Of course, with the use of optional foam inserts or cotton-wool padding, they can always simply lie flat and snug within their storage compartments.

Note: The HexSlide System is not incorporated into all GBST building designs. Building type E designs are too shallow to store a miniature and instead can be used for the storage of dice or other tokens. Additionally, the use of the individual HexLocks is optional.
